Steve inspects two ramps. You can ride whichever one you feel most comfortable on. In Steve's view, wider is better!

A couple of other rides blew by as we were looking at this ramp

The trailhead is well marked

We could use signs like this around here!

This is the River that Runs Through It. It's bigger than it looks, being about 20 feet down.

One section of the trail was distinctly rocky

Typically there are a lot of roots

This might give you a sense of how dark it is in the forest in the middle of the day

We both elected not to ride this ramp. It doesn't look very high, but actually it's about 4 feet or so above the rocks. That would be a nasty fall if you went off the ramp!

This was a very interesting ramp

When you ride onto a teeter-totter on one side, the ropes and pulleys pull the teeter-totter on the other side down. You only have a fraction of a second to ride across the middle section before both teeter-totters spring back up. If there's someone behind you, they need to wait until you get across and the first teeter-totter resets before they can start. There's a video of Kevin walking across this so you can see it in action.
