NEWS FOR EVERYONE

Saturday, December 7: CORBA Trail Restoration with Lunch.   Come out and help build and fix up the trails we love to ride! It feels great to ride a trail you've helped build and maintain. For more information, visit the CORBA Trail Crew page. Work days usually last until about 2:00. Be sure to wear suitable clothing (sturdy shoes, long pants and sleeves, hat, GLOVES) and bring snacks, sunscreen and WATER. CORBA will provide the tools and training.

Remember that CORBA treats volunteers to lunch after the event who register beforehand! Further info on the trailwork can be found on the online registration page (see below). Pre-registration is greatly appreciated because it helps CORBA know how many tools to bring, and to plan how much work can be done.

CORBA's lunch will be after trailwork ends, so bring along a snack to tide you over!

Meeting location and full details are shown on the online registration page, below.
 Time: 8:30 am.

We'll be adding drains to the recently rerouted Backbone Trail between Latigo and Newton Motorway (The Saddle). The old trail was destroyed by rain that rutted it out; we want to prevent this from happening to the new trail!

So we'll be able to plan better, please pre-register on CORBA's Meetup event here... https://www.meetup.com/CORBAmtb/events/266690487/

Meet at the dirt parking lot on Latigo Canyon Road where the Backbone Trail crosses it.

Directions: From the 101 Freeway in Agoura, exit at Kanan Rd and head south (towards the beach). Drive 6.7 miles and turn Left on Latigo Cyn Rd (about a half mile past Mulholland). Continue 2.9 miles on Latigo; the dirt parking lot will be on the left side. Watch carefully for it because it's hard to see when approaching from this direction.

From the PCH, turn north on Latigo Cyn Road in Malibu. Drive 7.3 miles to the dirt parking area on the right.
